Privacy policy
This policy describes what the site actually does, in the order you would ask about it. It is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Your documents
PDF files you choose are read and processed inside your browser. They are not uploaded, not transmitted, not stored, and not seen by this site's operators. When you close the tab, nothing about the document remains: there is no history list, no recent-files feature and no server-side copy, because no copy was ever made outside your own device's memory.
What is collected
- No accounts. No name, email address or password is requested or stored, because there is no account system at all.
- No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling.
- No analytics service. Nothing measures you. There is no Google Analytics script and no tracking pixel, and nothing records sessions or builds heat maps.
- No third-party requests. The page's scripts, stylesheet, fonts and icons are served from
this domain. There is no external font, no CDN script, no embedded widget. The Content-Security-Policy
confirms this by setting
connect-src 'self': files from this domain only, no other origin. - No advertising. There are no ads or ad networks on the site.
What the hosting provider can see
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, and delivering a page means the provider's servers receive ordinary request information: your IP address, your browser's user agent string, and the URL you asked for. That is standard technical logging for serving a web page. It does not contain your document, and it is not used by this site to build a profile of you. Aggregated traffic figures may be used to understand which pages are useful.
If you write to the contact address, your message and email address are kept only so that the conversation can continue. They are not added to a mailing list, and there is no newsletter. Please do not attach the document you are working on: a description of what happened is enough, and sending the file would defeat the point of using a tool that never asks for it.
Children
The site is a document utility. It has no accounts, accepts no user-generated content and carries no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Data-protection rules give you rights over personal data that is held about you. This site holds none: not an account, not a profile, not an analytics record. If you have emailed and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes (for example because a feature is added that does involve a server), the date at the top will change and the substance of the change will be described here rather than buried. Any feature that contradicted the claims above would require rewriting this page first, which is the intended order.
